River Roding Ramble

Looking at the lines of cars rammed bumper-to-bumper along the M11 Link Road, glued together by the tube strike, it’s a good day to strike out along one of London’s natural arteries – the glorious River Roding where the only congestion is caused by the dragon flies, herons, and song birds. I even spotted a grass snake slithering across the path into the long grass.

I love this. It is awesome. I love how you have filmed it too. I have cycled across Redbridge roundabout many a time and I am always amazed by this green space that no car driver probably knows about. I had no idea I was so close to the Roding River though, looks like a fab walk.

I’ve thought many a time about walking along the River Roding but wasn’t sure if it was possible until I saw this blog post yesterday. We did the walk from Leytonstone to Buckhurst Hill today and it was lovely.
